Work on Cheadle Village train station commences this week! What does this mean for Cheadle?
The residents of Cheadle have had some great news this week with the local council and news outlets announcing the return of the Cheadle village train station and work to start commencing this coming week!
This will mean great things for the village with more convenient connections to Greater Manchester people can leave the cars at home and reduce the traffic flow through the village. The project aims to support the residents, local businesses and bring big things for the area of Cheadle and Stockport. Local MPs are hopeful that the station will connect people to schools, jobs and other opportunities across Greater Manchester.
This project has been in the works for a long time and has required extensive planning to avoid timetable clashes and any logistical issues, after years of planning the project is now set to go ahead.
We are pleased that this is finally going ahead as it was a factor in why we chose this area to invest and we are excited for what this will bring for the residents of Cheadle.
